Upscale Cabin in the Woods of Colorado

In the Colorado pines, this house turns a fairy tale into contemporary architecture: a grounded concrete-block lodge (our “brick”) anchors the site, a light-filled glass bridge (“straw”) spans a wraparound drive, and a timber-clad tower on stilts (“sticks”) floats above the slope. Red-brick accents warm the masonry, while a carved stone wolf’s head playfully watches over the door. Inside, an “Upscale Classic Cabin” palette—layered woods and stone, deep greens and teals, tailored plaids, sculptural lighting—frames long views through generous glazing for a refined mountain retreat.

Modern three-volume Colorado mountain cabin: concrete-block “brick” lodge, glass bridge, and elevated timber wing over a wraparound drive.
